Getting In On the Ground Floor (A Small SXSW Preview)

South by Southwest (SXSW) music, film and interactive festival in Austin, TX is a yearly gathering where industry professions and hardcore music fans mingle to supposedly uncover the next greatest next thing that has never been before. 

This is where you find the bands you'll soon fall in love with, tout to all your friends, promote endlessly via every social medium, and wonder why no one else thinks they're as great as you do.  Then when they're "discovered" by the hype machine, blow up and sign a major label deal, you'll disown them and deride former favorite band with music critic like cynicism, call them sell outs and claim they'll never be as good as that first bootleg home recording.  

This is the first step of that process.
